FAQ
Frequently asked questions
About writing for Woodander Media.
01
Does it cost anything to write for Woodander Media?
No. Your first article is free, and no payment buys selection, editorial links or approval. To keep publishing regularly there are author plans; sponsored pieces are separate and always labelled.
02
Do you accept guest posts?
Yes — original pieces written for our readers: founder stories, guides, analysis and case studies about tech, startups, SaaS, AI, SEO and marketing. We don’t accept articles written to place a link.
03
Will my article have links?
Yes, where they help the reader: sources, tools and your project when it is relevant. Editors review every link; sponsored pieces always use sponsored links.
04
How long should my article be?
At least 1,500 characters, and as long as it needs to be useful. Specific beats long: real numbers, steps, screenshots and what didn’t work.
05
How long does the review take?
Usually a few days. If the piece needs changes, you get specific notes from an editor instead of a silent rejection.
06
Can I send a press release?
Send it as a news tip. Editors decide whether there is a story for our readers and write it in their own words; we don’t republish press releases as they are.
07
Can I use AI to write?
As a helper, yes — but the experience, facts and examples must be yours. Generic AI filler is not published.
