FAQ
Frequently asked questions
About adding a project to Woodander Discover.
01
Is it free to list my project?
Yes. A basic page on Discover is free, with no time limit. Paid options like a spot on TOP are separate, optional and always labelled.
02
How long does the review take?
Editors check every submission by hand: that the project is real, works and is described honestly. Publication isn’t guaranteed, and you get an email either way.
03
Do I get a backlink to my website?
Your page always links to your website. The link becomes followed once you are the verified owner and the page is complete, with a full description; it can’t be bought.
04
Can I edit the page later?
Yes. After you claim the page you can change the text, screenshots, FAQ and links at any time, post updates in your Newsroom and see who visits.
05
What kinds of projects are accepted?
Websites, online stores, web, mobile and desktop apps, browser extensions, online services, developer tools, open-source projects and useful communities.
06
My project is already listed. What now?
Enter its address above: we find the page, and you can claim it to manage it, or suggest an update.
07
Will it help people and AI assistants find my project?
A complete, indexed page in the right category is one more place where search engines and AI assistants can read about your project. We can’t promise rankings or mentions — nobody honestly can.
Your project deserves a home
