What Is Woodander? A Growth Platform for Projects That Want to Be Found
One place to get a website, app or digital product found: a reviewed directory, SEO workspace, AI visibility, media and labelled promotion.
Woodander is a growth platform for websites, apps, online businesses and digital products. It gives founders, indie makers and small agencies one place to be found: a reviewed directory, an SEO workspace, AI visibility, a media section and clear, labelled promotion.
Most small teams get found through a patchwork of tools: one for search data, another for analytics, a spreadsheet for directories, a launch site that forgets them after a day. Woodander puts these jobs side by side, so you can see what is working and decide what to do next.
It works in four languages: English, Ukrainian, German and Spanish. You can start for free at woodander.com.
What's inside this growth platform for websites
Discover. A reviewed directory that is free to join. Each project gets a lasting page and a place in its category. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Each project also gets a Newsroom with short news posts, called Briefs, and a press kit.

Woodander Media. Founder stories, analysis and guides. The first story is free to submit. Editors review everything, and sponsored stories are labelled.
Woodander TOP. A bid-based leaderboard from €5, clearly labelled as paid. One bid counts on Today, This month and All-time. You do not need an account to bid.
The SEO workspace. Google Search Console, GA4 and Tag Manager in one place. It includes site audits with a crawler, rank tracking and keyword research. AI visibility shows whether ChatGPT and Perplexity name your brand when people ask about your field. A weekly action plan tells you what to work on next.
Content Studio. Inside the SEO workspace, Content Studio writes articles for your own site, and you approve each one before it goes anywhere. Approved articles go to your WordPress site.
Outreach. A launch tracker with curated directories, newsletters and communities to submit to. You keep your own status for each one. Nothing is sent on your behalf.

Market. A place where newsletters, podcasts, communities and sites list their ad placements. Advertisers write to them directly, and Woodander takes no cut of those deals.
API and MCP. Your own AI tools, such as Claude or Cursor, can read your Woodander data and act on it, with your approval.
You can also try the free SEO tools without setting anything up.
What makes Woodander different
One place instead of many tools. Search data, analytics, tags, audits, rankings, AI answers, your directory page and your launch list live together. You can compare a change with the numbers without switching between tools.
A lasting page, not a one-day launch. Launch sites reward a single busy day. Discover is built for the months after it: your project keeps its page, its category and its Newsroom, and people can find it long after launch week.
Paid is always labelled, organic is never sold. Featured spots, TOP and sponsored stories are marked as paid. The organic order of listings and Trending cannot be bought. Readers can trust what they see, and makers know what they are paying for.
Your AI can work with your data. Through MCP and the API, the assistant you already use can read your data and act on it, such as your Search Console figures or audit results, and it only acts with your approval.
Four languages. The platform works in English, Ukrainian, German and Spanish, which matters if your audience is not only English-speaking.
How Woodander makes money
We prefer to say this plainly. Woodander earns from two things: plans and labelled promotion.
Woodander is free to start, and joining Discover is free. Paid plans are Starter at €29, Pro at €49 and Agency at €99 a month. Project Pro costs €14 a month. Yearly billing is 20% less.
Promotion is bought separately: Featured in Discover, a place on TOP, or a sponsored story in Woodander Media. Every paid spot is labelled.
What we do not sell matters just as much. The organic order of Discover is not for sale. Market deals stay between the advertiser and the publisher, with no cut for us. We think this is how a directory stays worth visiting.
How to get your website found
These are general, well-known practices. None of them promises rankings or traffic, but together they give a site a reasonable chance.
- Keep the site fast and clean. Slow pages and broken markup lose visitors before they read anything. Check speed and basic structure first.
- Read your real queries before you write. Search Console shows the words people already use to reach you. Write for those questions, not for guesses.
- Fix what the audit finds. Broken links, missing titles, redirect chains and pages that cannot be indexed hold everything else back. Work through them in order of impact.
- Be listed in a few real places. A handful of directories, newsletters and communities where your audience actually looks is worth more than hundreds of empty listings.
- Write pages that answer real questions. One clear page per question, with a direct answer near the top, helps both readers and AI search understand you.
- Be patient, and keep the data in one place. Search takes weeks to months to respond. When Search Console, analytics and your changes sit side by side, you can tell what worked and what did not.
Woodander is built around these steps: the audit and weekly action plan cover the first three, Discover and Outreach cover the fourth, Content Studio helps with the fifth, and the workspace keeps the data together for the sixth.
Where to start
If you have a project, the simplest first step is to add it to Discover. It is free, it is reviewed, and it gives your project a lasting page.
If you have a website, connect Search Console and GA4 in the SEO workspace and run your first audit. The weekly plan will show you where to begin.
When you are ready for more, compare the plans. There is no rush: search responds to steady work, and Woodander is built to support it.
