Free SEO Checker — check any web page
Inspect one public URL for its title, description, headings, canonical and robots tags, images, links and basic technical signals. It checks the page itself — not your whole site, and not whether Google has indexed it.
What does the free SEO Checker analyze?
-
1
Search appearance
Title length and wording, meta description, and Open Graph tags that control how the page looks in results and when shared.
-
2
Headings and structure
Whether there is one clear H1 and subheadings in a logical order.
-
3
Indexability signals
Meta robots, the X-Robots-Tag header, robots.txt and the canonical URL — signals that can allow or block indexing.
-
4
Links and images
Counts of internal and external links, and images missing alt text. Link targets aren’t tested here.
-
5
Structured data
Whether JSON-LD is present and parses correctly.
-
6
Technical basics
HTTP status, redirects, HTTPS and the mobile viewport for the URL you entered.
How to improve on-page SEO

-
4
Use canonicals when URLs duplicate
Point parameter and print versions to one preferred URL.
-
5
Add alt text to meaningful images
Describe what the image shows; leave decorative images empty.
-
6
Link to the final URL
Avoid internal links that go through redirects. Redirect & HTTP Header Checker →
How to interpret your results
- ISSUE
- A clear fault that usually deserves a fix, e.g. a missing title or a non-200 status.
- WARNING
- May be a problem depending on the page, e.g. a missing description or canonical, or a long title.
- PASS
- Checked and looks fine.
- NOT CHECKED
- Not part of this check, or blocked by the site. The report says which — it is never counted as a fault.

Frequently asked questions
About the SEO Checker.
01
Is the SEO Checker free?
Yes. You can check public pages without paying. There’s an hourly limit per visitor to keep it fast for everyone.
02
Do I need an account?
No. Quick checks work without an account. An account is only needed to save reports or monitor a site over time.
03
Does it confirm Google indexing?
No. It reads the page the way a crawler would and reports the signals it finds. Whether Google indexed the page is only visible in Google Search Console (URL Inspection).
04
Does the tool store my page content?
No. The fetched page is kept in a short-lived cache for a few minutes so repeated checks are fast, then discarded. Anonymous checks aren’t saved as reports.
05
Can it analyze JavaScript-rendered sites?
Partly. We read the HTML the server sends and don’t run JavaScript, so tags added by scripts after load aren’t seen.
06
Why does it say blocked or partial?
Some sites block or rate-limit automated tools, or answer too slowly. Those checks are marked Not checked — a limit of our tool, not a fault of your site, and not evidence that Google can’t crawl it.
