-
1
Valid JSON
Each JSON-LD block must parse; one stray comma breaks the whole block.
-
2

Every block should declare @context so search engines know the vocabulary.
-
3
Required properties
For common types such as Product, Article, FAQPage and Organization, the properties Google requires.
-
4
Recommended properties
What each type could add to be more complete.
-
5
Nested items
Offers, ratings, reviews and list items are checked inside their parents.
-
6
Other formats
Microdata and RDFa are counted and noted; this tool validates JSON-LD.

How to interpret your results
- ISSUE
- A clear fault that usually deserves a fix, e.g. a missing title or a non-200 status.
- WARNING
- May be a problem depending on the page, e.g. a missing description or canonical, or a long title.
- PASS
- Checked and looks fine.
- NOT CHECKED
- Not part of this check, or blocked by the site. The report says which — it is never counted as a fault.

Frequently asked questions
About the Schema / JSON-LD Validator.
01
Is this Google’s Rich Results Test?
No. We parse the JSON-LD and check common required properties; Google’s own test decides rich result eligibility.
02
Can I check code before publishing?
Yes. Paste the JSON-LD into the field instead of a URL.
03
Does structured data improve rankings?
Not directly. It can make a page eligible for rich results, which can earn more clicks.
04
JSON-LD, Microdata or RDFa?
Google supports all three and recommends JSON-LD, which is the easiest to maintain.
05
Why is a property only recommended?
Google needs the required ones; recommended ones make the result richer but aren’t mandatory.
06
Is it free?
Yes. No account is needed. We limit how often one visitor can run checks so the tools stay fast for everyone.
