About Archemap
Archemap is a self-discovery platform built on Carl Jung's ideas about archetypes and the shadow. It starts with a free test: 42 short scenario questions, no account needed, a result in about ten minutes. Instead of rating yourself on abstract traits, you choose what you would actually do in everyday situations.
Your result has two halves. Your core archetype is one of 12 recurring patterns of motivation, such as the Hero, the Sage, the Creator or the Caregiver. Your shadow is what that same pattern turns into when it runs without awareness: the Ruler becomes the Tyrant, the Caregiver becomes the Martyr, the Creator becomes the Demiurge. Most personality tests describe you on a good day. Archemap shows the good day and the bad day side by side.
From the result you can go deeper. Every archetype and shadow has its own profile page. An in-depth personal report walks through your shadow pattern, stress loops, relationships and integration exercises, and you can read a complete sample report before deciding anything. Compatibility shows how two archetypes and two shadows interact, for couples and for co-founders. A library of free tests looks at boundaries, love styles, emotional intelligence, the Enneagram and more.
Everything comes together on a personality map: your archetype and shadow at the centre, with every test, journal theme and daily answer added as a layer around them. A shadow journal and a short daily signal help you notice your pattern in real situations, both free.
Archemap is a tool for self-reflection, not a clinical instrument, and its methodology page says so openly. It runs in eight languages: English, Ukrainian, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
