Woodander TOP participation rules

Buying TOP visibility doesn’t create a Discover listing, prove ownership of a site, give edit rights or guarantee a permanent rank.

1Ranking calculation

1.1 Rankings are ordered by the total of confirmed payments for each canonical site.
1.2 All-time counts every confirmed payment. This month counts payments in the current UTC calendar month. Last 24 hours counts payments confirmed in the past 24 hours; each one drops off exactly 24 hours later. The daily archive is calendar-based: a payment belongs to the UTC day it was paid.
1.3 One payment counts on every board it falls in, including the site’s category boards.
1.4 Only confirmed payments count. Pending, failed or refunded payments are excluded.

2.1 If two sites have the same total, the one that reached that total first ranks higher. To confirm — draft, not final policy
2.2 Ties are resolved by server time of payment confirmation. To confirm — draft, not final policy

3.1 Each listing has one category, suggested automatically and confirmed by the buyer.
3.2 Categories: AI & Automation, SaaS, Developer Tools, Marketing, Design, E-commerce, Security, Other.
3.3 Woodander may move a listing to a more accurate category. The totals stay the same. To confirm — draft, not final policy
3.4 TOP categories can link to Discover categories, but TOP never creates a Discover listing.

4.1 Listings must link to a working website that matches its title and description.
4.2 Not allowed: illegal content, malware or phishing, adult content, gambling, impersonation, misleading claims, hateful content. To confirm — draft, not final policy
4.3 Titles and descriptions are plain text, with length limits. No HTML.

5.1 Payments are one-time, in euros (VAT included), through a hosted checkout. No subscriptions.
5.2 A listing goes live only after the payment is confirmed server-side.
5.3 The minimum bid and increments are configurable and shown before payment. To confirm — draft, not final policy

6.1 Listings are checked automatically; some are reviewed by a person before they go live.
6.2 Woodander can hide or remove a listing that breaks these rules.
6.3 Historical daily and monthly results stay as published, unless a listing was removed for breaking the rules. To confirm — draft, not final policy

7.1 Anyone can pay to add to a site’s total. Paying doesn’t make you the owner of the site or the listing.
7.2 Only an authorised listing manager can change the title, description or icon. Paying alone doesn’t grant this.
7.3 Managers are verified separately, for example through the website or domain email. To confirm — draft, not final policy

8.1 Payments for TOP are final: they are not refunded, including when a listing is rejected or removed for breaking these rules.
8.2 Check your website against these rules before you bid; the checkout asks you to accept them.

9.1 Report a listing or a payment problem through the contact form.
9.2 Ownership disputes are reviewed by Woodander; nothing transfers automatically.
