About HOL Guard

HOL Guard is a free, open-source (Apache-2.0) runtime layer for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. It watches tool use on your machine (shell commands, secret access, MCP servers and package installs) instead of trusting the model, and pauses anything risky for your approval before it runs. Local Guard is free. Guard Cloud is an optional paid add-on for teams that want shared policies and history. Install with: pipx install hol-guard && hol-guard init. A scan is not a safety guarantee.
