Datapuddle vs. ScreenCI

A native Mac app for querying Parquet, CSV and .duckdb files with SQL. Millions of rows, column profiles in every header, visual query plans. Powered by DuckDB. DuckDB has been my swiss-army knife for a while now. I have a special place in my heart for polished native macOS apps. My somewhat outsized and exaggerated dislike for electron/webkit based has lead me toil away on several native macOS apps on my own...mostly to not much profit :)I wanted to build a nice DuckDB client. Though I usually reach for TablePlus, my favorite multi-db client on Macs, I felt like there wasn't a nice DuckDB oriented experience. One thing that I used DuckDB for on locally on my desktop is dealing with larger datasets. And paging is something that was annoying a...

If the video is out of date, the run fails like any E2E test.I've been on teams where the tutorial videos were outdated, or even where we held back UI improvements due to manually maintained videos. That's why we built system where you can describe the videos as Playwright E2E test code. Coding agents are very good with writing tests and you can run these scripts against your app on your machine. ScreenCI converts them into narra...
